Dancing is like dreaming with your legs...

This wonderful saying has been accompanying Zoulaiha for all of her life. Being the oldest of three children she grew up multiculturally in Gelsenkirchen/North Rhine Westphalia. Her father is Sicilian and her mother is German. Due to her Italian ancestry she has a lot of temperament which makes her oriental danceshows incomparable and remarkably good.

Back in school she discovered her love for dancing. She started developing choreographies and she attracted positive attention for it in dancing class. Dancing was Zoulaiha´s outlet for expressing her feelings and simply to feel: I´m alive!

She has long been searching for the opportunity to receive professional dancing education and in 1989 it came. Coincidentally, Zoulaiha came across a dancing school for Oriental dance near her where her education started.

3 years later she moved to Thuringia with her family. In 1992 there were no dancing classes in that area so she educated herself by partaking countless workshops throughout Germany. She was significantly affected by receiving classes from Atesh (Bad Hersfeld), Djamila (Frankfurt), and Hawa (Ulm).

In 1995 Zoulaiha started giving lessons in Eisenach and Gotha. She was the very first dancer, teacher, and choreograph in that area and she has educated many women which, now, are dancers and teachers their own. Her classes are in great demand because she knows how to convey this special form of dancing to her students in an ethusiastic an charming way. Meanwhile, she, continuously, gives lessons not only in Gotha and Eisenach, but also in Bad Langensalza and Mühlhausen.

Additionally, Zoulaiha has made a name for herself as an excellent choreograph. She has the ability to work out diversified and challenging choreogrphies which, by now, are being danced by many of her students at public events.

Meanwhile, Zoulaiha is a highly recommended artist who engages in workshops and events all along Thuringia. Her topmost concern is to sensitise people for oriental dance which is unquestionably erotic but often not accepted as a form of art.

Beside private and public events, she organises feature-length dancing shows and oriental discos as well as dancing journeys to Tunesia, Egypt, and Turkey.
